Terms and Conditions

The Aurevane Book Club ("ABC", "we", "our", or "us") is a global community of independent readers who share books among themselves, and a platform that invites authors whose books capture our readers' attention to participate in Author Spotlight sessions.

We are not a bookstore, a publisher, or a paid review service. We do not sell books and we do not guarantee sales outcomes.

By accessing this website, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, misrepresent your identity, scrape member data, or upload material you do not have the right to share.

We may update, suspend, or remove any part of the site or its content at any time.

Live sessions are hosted virtually on Zoom and are moderated by a member of the Aurevane Book Club team. Attendance links are shared through our Facebook community and our newsletter.

Sessions may be recorded for highlights and archive purposes. Authors are informed before recording. Readers who prefer not to appear on camera may participate by chat only.

Disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, or spam behaviour may result in immediate removal from the session and the community.

Authors may submit a title for editorial consideration, and our readers may also nominate a book directly. Submission does not guarantee an invitation.

Any material you submit (synopsis, cover, headshot, or links) is submitted with your permission for us to display it in connection with your session, spotlight, or archive entry.

Where a paid partnership package applies, the scope of that package is described on the relevant page at the time of purchase. Fees cover event production and community placement — never reviews, ratings, or purchase guarantees.

Book covers, author images, and quoted excerpts remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for editorial and community purposes.

Site design, original copy, and session recordings produced by Aurevane Book Club remain our property. Authors receive the rights described in their package to reuse clips from their own session.

If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, contact us through our contact page, and we will review the matter and take appropriate action promptly.

Reviews and comments express the personal opinions of the readers who wrote them. We do not pay for reviews, coordinate rating campaigns, or use automated or bot accounts.

We may remove content that is abusive, defamatory, off-topic, or commercially manipulative.

Where a partnership package is purchased, refunds are considered up to seven (7) days before the scheduled session date, less any production work already completed. Once a session has been produced or aired, fees are non-refundable.

If Aurevane Book Club cancels or fails to deliver a scheduled session, you may choose a rescheduled date or a full refund.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurevane Book Club is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or participation in our events.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
